Hawaiian day 2009

Today we had our annual Hawaiian day celebration at work. It is usually the half way point to Christmas and we really need something to celebrate. I love Hawaiian day because we are always more goofy and have loads of fun and good food. I wish I would've taken more pics of the decorations because they were great. I also missed getting a pic of Dr. E because he was really busy today. We always love to party and enjoy each others company!

Birthday fun at work!

Since I have blogged on here before about my work family I think I should let you see how we spent my birthday at work. My birthday was on a Friday and I don't usually work Fridays so we decided to put off celebrating till Monday. They are so much fun there. They made sure my desk was totally decked out in fun. We went and had such a fabulous lunch and then came back for some very yummy brownies! (thanks Annette!) They gave me some great gifts and I am wearing my new comfy Mickey Mouse robe in one pic:) These guys are wonderful and I am so thankful I have been so blessed to have found this job. Thanks for a GREAT day!!

Work Christmas Party!

Today I went to our work Christmas party. We went quading from Four Peaks down to Saguaro Lake and had a fabulous lunch!! Thanks for the BBQ Waldo's!!! I was rather terrified to ride a quad because every time I get on one I have wrecked. I am proud to say that I did not wreck this time. Came very close once but didn't!! YIPEEE!!! Our work group is so much fun and we had a total blast!! Thank you so much Dr. A and Dr. E and of course your lovely spouses!! You guys are the most awesome bosses and are always so good to us. I am thankful I have a job in this day and age and am more grateful that it is with people that I really do love. You guys ROCK!!! Merry Christmas!! PS We missed you Annette, Lisa, and Gail!!

Today we had our annual just for the ladies work Christmas party! I love going to these little shindigs. We had fabulous food as always. Good company. A fun, fun, fun gift exchange and loads of visiting. I am so glad I work with who I work with. They are an awesome group and loads of fun. It is amazing we get along so well but we do and really seem to enjoy each others company. Thanks for a fun afternoon gals:)

My work family

I have been blessed to work at such a great office! If you had to work you totally couldn't find a much better place to be. I thought I would share some of our pictures with you. Today we went to lunch just for fun (thanks for the idea Marisa. We missed you, Julie, and Lisa.) and then some of ladies went for pedicures after. If any of you know me you know that I do not like to be touched much. This was my first pedicure and it was very hard for me to relax because I really HATE to have my feet touched. I would probably have another one but after some time had passed. Who would've thought I could be such a big baby?!

This is us on Hawaiian day. We celebrate in June on the half way mark between Christmas. I borrowed Lisa's copies cuz I forgot my camera. Thanks Lisa:)

Lisa and her friend Melissa were lucky enough to join me and my friend Jeni and sister-in-law Brittney to get our copy of Breaking Dawn . We were so excited because the radio station said that Stephanie Meyers was going to be there and they LIED!!!! That is why we are so very sad. Thanks for partying with the old women Lisa and Melissa:) I love my office and all the wonderful people there!
